Theater Wallay performed its latest production “Aao Drama Dekhen” at the Farm – TW Studio on 11th and 12th March 2017. The performance consisted of two one-act plays written by Saadat Hassan Manto in 1930s. Manto had written these comedies for radio; Theatre Wallay decided to stage them. He wrote a series of 10 plays – the title of every play starts with ‘Aao’.
It was very well received, and audience asked Theatre Wallay to perform the rest of the plays from the same series.
The cast and crew included:
Asad Raza played Mulaquati (the visitor)
Shozab Akari played Kishore (the husband)
Imran Iftikhar played Narain (the friend)
Hafsa Munir played Lajwanti (the wife)
Production support was provided by Sanobar Nazir and Kazim Carlo.
It was directed by Safeer Ullah Khan.
